This video quickly and succinctly explains the basics of the stock exchange, including shares, value, profits, bubbles, and a few other concepts.  It’s a good introduction to some of the basic ideas and how they fit together.

• What is a share?  How does it get a ‘value’ assigned to it?
• What did they mean when they compared the stock market to gambling?
