Description
It turns out that in just two decades we might actually be able to read others’ minds! And why not. If our minds are patterns of electric signals and neurons in our brain, shouldn’t we be able to map them, figure out how they work, and then translate them again? This video discusses the amazing recent advancements at Berkeley that are already able to make images out of what our mind’s eye is seeing. Future applications would allow us to watch our dreams or communicate with people in comas.
