Description
This video provides a brief discussion of Stanton’s life growing up, and then spends the majority of the video on the early women’s rights movement and the Seneca Falls Convention of 1848. The Convention was the first major public event that discussed the rights of women, culminating in a final statement called the Declaration of Sentiments. Other heroines discussed in the video include Lucretia Mott and Susan B. Anthony.
